WHAT’S YOUR WORTH AS A PROFESSIONAL ?

When you became a Hairstylist, and started charging clients for services, How did you asses your worth?

All the years I’ve been doing hair, this question has been on my mind. Here I am, ready to go and make some money and establish myself as a professional in my field. All along I didn’t know what to charge, I’m asking myself and researching other Stylist to see what their services are worth.

By looking at other Stylist, and basing my prices around my findings, I wasn’t really charging what I was worth. I was only charging what I believe the clients would pay for my services. I also found myself sometimes asking the client, what were they looking to pay for their service(s). All because I wanted to do hair.

I had to find another way, and something had to give. I invested time and money into going to Cosmetology School, Continuing Education Classes, Products, and I even took it a step further and became a Instructor..

After consulting with some close friends of mine that are also Cosmetologist, Family, and taking a couple of Coaching Classes. I know what my WORTH is.

I no longer under valuing my services just to make a QUICK DOLLAR. Those that value my SKILLS as a PROFESSIONAL knew that they are getting exactly what they are PAYING for.

Q: WHAT’S YOUR WORTH ?

I would love to hear from you..
